Who you are
You have a strong background in Machine Learning, with experience in building state-of-the-art models at large scale. Your expertise includes developing algorithms in areas such as optimization, model architecture, and data-centric optimizations. You are passionate about contributing to the open model ecosystem and pushing the frontier of open models. Your problem-solving and analytical skills are excellent, allowing you to tackle complex challenges effectively. You hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
What you'll do
As an AI Research Engineer at Together AI, you will be at the forefront of foundation model research, working to make innovative models a reality in products. You will develop novel architectures and system optimizations that significantly improve upon state-of-the-art solutions. Your role will involve creating optimization algorithms and data-centric optimizations that enhance model performance. You will collaborate closely with machine learning systems, NLP/CV, and engineering teams to identify research problems and work together on practical solutions.
