What you'll do

As a Founding Senior Backend Engineer at Tracer, you will own the architecture and implementation of the core alert investigation and root cause analysis (RCA) pipeline. You will design and build systems that ingest and normalize alerts, enrich context, and correlate data to provide actionable insights. Your role will involve collaborating closely with product engineers to ensure that the systems you build effectively address customer pain points and enhance user experience.

You will be responsible for implementing key components of the alert pipeline, including hypothesis orchestration and investigation execution runtime. Your work will directly impact the reliability of production systems, making them more trustworthy for engineers who rely on them. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall technical direction of the company.
