What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Core Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing the logic that powers Trellis's insurance marketplace. You will work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable solutions that provide personalized recommendations to insurance shoppers.

You will lead the team through complex engineering challenges, ensuring that the solutions you develop are well-tested and maintainable. You will also have the opportunity to shape the technical roadmap and initiate new projects that align with the company's vision. Your role will involve collaborating with other engineers to conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor junior team members.

In addition to your technical contributions, you will participate in strategic discussions about product direction and help prioritize engineering tasks based on business impact. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve the team's processes and output.
