Job Description
Who you are
You are a highly analytical individual with a strong curiosity about the fraud landscape — your experience in threat intelligence allows you to proactively identify and analyze emerging threats that could impact our platform and customers. You have a solid understanding of the fraud ecosystem, including common tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for account takeover, card-not-present fraud, and identity theft. Your familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI enhances your ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
You have experience in fintech, payments, travel, or e-commerce environments — this background equips you with the knowledge to navigate complex fraud scenarios. Exposure to programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a strong plus, enabling you to perform deep-dive investigations into organized fraud rings using advanced techniques.
What you'll do
In this role, you will proactively hunt for threats by monitoring and analyzing raw data from various sources, including transactions and user behavior, to identify emerging fraud patterns and anomalies. You will conduct deep-dive investigations into organized fraud networks, utilizing link analysis to map out networks, infrastructure, and methodologies. Your research will extend to external intelligence sources, including dark web forums and security blogs, to stay ahead of new fraud TTPs.
You will produce actionable intelligence by developing and disseminating clear and concise intelligence reports, threat briefings, and alerts to key stakeholders. Your work will be crucial in generating the actionable intelligence our organization needs to stay ahead of fraudsters, ensuring the safety and security of our platform and customers.
