You possess proficient coding skills in modern languages and frameworks β your familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and schema design allows you to tackle complex problems effectively. You hold a Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field, which has equipped you with the foundational knowledge necessary for this role. You are eager to contribute positively to Twitchβs engineering culture β you thrive in team settings and enjoy collaborating with product managers and program managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer I at Twitch, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the services that power Twitchβs video platform β your work will directly impact the experience of millions of viewers and creators. You will collaborate effectively with product managers, program managers, and other engineering teams at Twitch β this collaboration will ensure that the features you develop align with user needs and business goals. You will contribute to the ongoing improvement of Twitchβs engineering culture β your insights and feedback will help shape best practices and foster a supportive environment for all engineers. You will engage in code reviews and participate in team discussions to enhance the quality of the codebase β your contributions will help maintain high standards for software development at Twitch.
