Who you are

You have over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on data-driven technologies. Your background includes designing and crafting scalable, reliable, maintainable, and reusable data and machine learning solutions. You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, and have a proven track record of leading cross-functional projects.

You are skilled in providing technical leadership and vision for teams, having successfully led Backend, Data, and ML engineers in previous roles. Your ability to influence both short-term and long-term goals for your team is a testament to your leadership capabilities. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Product, Scientists, and cross-organizational leads to shape strategies that drive business success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design, development, optimization, and productization of datasets and machine learning solutions that address strategically important or vaguely defined problems. You will be responsible for creating a technical vision for the Marketplace Health team, ensuring that business metrics are explainable and actionable in a timely manner. Your leadership will guide the team in achieving its goals while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing existing systems and developing new ones that enhance the overall performance of the Marketplace Health tools. You will also mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers within the organization.
