You possess deep technical knowledge and experience in architecting systems that integrate AI into the software development lifecycle — from ideation and documentation to coding, testing, deployment, and observability. Your ability to evaluate and implement innovative solutions will be key in driving productivity across thousands of engineers at Uber.

What you'll do

In this role, you will define the long-term technical vision and roadmap for AI-powered developer tools and infrastructure at Uber. You will lead the design and implementation of novel systems that leverage large language models, static and dynamic analysis, and machine learning techniques. Your work will directly impact developer velocity and software quality, enabling rapid integration of agentic AI into Uber's products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the tools you develop meet the needs of developers and enhance their productivity. Your role will involve evaluating new technologies and solutions, guiding teams through the implementation process, and ensuring that the tools you create are scalable and effective.

You will also have the autonomy to tackle some of the most complex engineering challenges faced by the company, providing mentorship and guidance to other engineers while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
