What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and evolution of machine learning models that power Uber's ad ranking, pricing, and auction systems. You will own the end-to-end ML systems, including training pipelines and low-latency online inference for both real-time and batch use cases. Your responsibilities will include defining the technical roadmap for Ads ML, ensuring that systems operate under strict latency and reliability constraints while serving billions of predictions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement next-generation recommendation architectures, enabling significant improvements in model quality and serving efficiency. Your role will also involve raising the bar on observability and reliability of online ML systems, ensuring that they meet the high standards expected in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in delivering scalable and measurable ad recommendations that drive Uber's Ads business forward.
