You have a strong background in systems-level engineering, particularly in building production ML platforms. Your experience includes working with distributed systems and high-throughput model serving, which has equipped you with the skills to tackle complex asynchronous training workflows. You are proficient in Rust for performance and correctness, and you have a solid understanding of Python for developing machine learning models and services. You thrive on solving foundational problems and enjoy the challenges that come with the software/hardware interface and OS-level optimization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement the core infrastructure that powers UiPath's large-scale AI and Document Understanding products. You will be responsible for supporting a system that handles a massive volume of inference requests, ensuring that the model training is orchestrated efficiently across various model architectures. Your work will involve not just gluing APIs together but building the foundational elements that make the entire system function seamlessly.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers to tackle the gnarly problems associated with production ML platforms. This includes optimizing performance and ensuring correctness in the systems you build. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers. Your contributions will directly influence the success of UiPath's mission to transform how the world works through automation.
