You are proactive in improving existing code and development practices, enhancing maintainability and reliability.

What you'll do

As a Senior SDK Engineer at Unity, you will act as a senior individual contributor on the iOS SDK, owning features or subsystems end-to-end. You will contribute to the development and evolution of the iOS SDK architecture within established platform direction and guardrails. Your responsibilities will include implementing reliable and performant iOS SDK components, with a strong focus on threading, lifecycle, and main-thread safety. You will identify and fix production crashes, performance issues, and regressions, contributing to improving overall SDK stability.

You will proactively improve existing code, abstractions, and development practices to enhance maintainability and reliability. Your role will require you to exercise sound technical judgment in balancing correctness, performance, and delivery timelines. You will collaborate closely with Android engineers, backend teams, product managers, and QA to ensure consistent SDK behavior and safe integrations. Additionally, you will participate in design and code reviews, providing thoughtful feedback and raising engineering quality across the team.
