You have 5+ years of experience in mobile software engineering, with a strong focus on building high-quality applications. Your expertise in React Native allows you to create seamless user experiences that align with business goals. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and designers to deliver impactful features. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of maintainable code and thoughtful system design. You are passionate about improving access to affordable credit and are excited to contribute to Upstart's mission. You are comfortable making technical decisions and enjoy mentoring junior engineers to help them grow.
Desirable
Experience with other mobile frameworks or languages is a plus, as is familiarity with backend technologies. A background in financial technology or lending platforms would be beneficial, but not required. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving needs of the team.
What you'll do
As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer at Upstart, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable mobile applications that enhance the user experience. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to define features and ensure they meet user needs. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and conducting code reviews to uphold engineering quality standards.
