You are a frontend engineer with a strong background in building beautiful and functional user interfaces. You have experience working in fast-paced environments and are comfortable with real-time systems. You understand the importance of user experience and have a keen eye for design. You thrive in collaborative settings and enjoy working closely with product and design teams to bring ideas to life. You have a passion for voice technology and are excited about the potential of voice as an interface. Bonus points if you have experience building your own startup or have seen a company grow from Series B to F.

What you'll do

In your first 30 days, you'll master Vapi's real-time assistant configuration system, getting up to speed with the tools and technologies used in the platform. By the 60-day mark, you'll be architecting end-to-end features, including multi-modal voice interfaces that enhance user interaction. In 90 days, you'll be designing components, APIs, and UX patterns that scale across teams, ensuring a cohesive experience for developers and users alike. You'll be responsible for shipping new features based on user feedback and requests, which come in frequently. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the product meets the needs of its growing user base.
