You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building and managing scalable infrastructure. Your hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies has equipped you with the skills to optimize performance and ensure high availability in production environments.

You possess deep expertise in Java and are familiar with modern development practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization. Your knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes allows you to effectively deploy and manage applications in the cloud.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy the challenge of fine-tuning systems for maximum performance. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex issues and implement effective solutions that enhance system reliability.

You are a strong collaborator who values teamwork and communication. You understand the importance of working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets customer needs.

Desirable

Experience with Docker and other container orchestration tools is a plus. Familiarity with open-source technologies and a passion for the life sciences industry will help you succeed in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for architecting and operating the Veeva Vault Platform, which supports life sciences companies in managing clinical trials and ensuring compliance with global regulations. You will leverage a diverse stack of cloud-native and open-source technologies to build a secure and robust platform.

You will work on optimizing system performance and scalability, ensuring that the infrastructure can handle the demands of a rapidly growing SaaS environment. Your role will involve hands-on coding, system design, and performance tuning to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Collaboration is key in this role; you will partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers.
