Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on security and data analysis. You are adept at analyzing threat actor behavior and evolving abuse patterns across large datasets, which informs your detection logic and policy decisions. Your background includes working with machine learning techniques, and you are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement scalable defenses against emerging threats.
You possess a deep understanding of security engineering principles and have experience in building systems that operate at internet scale. Your analytical mindset allows you to detect emerging abuse patterns effectively, and you are skilled in designing production-ready mitigations that do not hinder developer productivity. You are familiar with tools and frameworks such as Next.js, which you leverage to enhance the security of web applications.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Trust & Safety team, you will analyze real-world threat actor behavior and detect emerging abuse patterns across large datasets. Your role will involve designing and implementing scalable defenses to protect millions of developers and projects from abuse. You will collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and security teams to turn evolving threats into actionable strategies.
