You have a proven track record in product management, particularly in technology-driven environments. With 5+ years of experience, you understand the intricacies of managing complex products and can navigate the challenges that come with them. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams ensures that everyone is aligned and working towards a common goal. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform product decisions, ensuring that the features you develop meet user needs and drive engagement.
You possess a strong technical background, ideally with experience in video technology or cloud services. This technical expertise allows you to engage deeply with engineering teams, translating complex technical concepts into actionable product strategies. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality products.
What you'll do
As the Senior Product Manager for the Video Platform, you will own the product roadmap and drive the development of foundational camera services. This includes overseeing the storage, encryption, and streaming of video from millions of cameras globally. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that the infrastructure is stable, scalable, and secure, directly impacting the user experience for Verkada's customers.
You will lead the product development lifecycle, from ideation through to launch, ensuring that all features align with the overall vision of the company. Your role will involve conducting user research to gather insights and validate product concepts, as well as defining success metrics to measure the impact of your initiatives. You will also work with marketing and sales teams to ensure that product launches are successful and that customers understand the value of the features you deliver.
