Who you are

You have 4+ years of experience developing REST APIs with Node.js and 3+ years of experience working with React.js. You thrive in an agile, test-driven environment and have a strong understanding of how to ship software to market effectively. Your background includes working with various databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, which allows you to manage data efficiently. Familiarity with cloud technologies and TypeScript is a plus, enhancing your versatility in the tech stack. Exposure to the Payments industry and knowledge of PCI/DSS standards would be a strong asset, showcasing your ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate closely with a diverse and global team of engineers, diving deep into the tech stack to understand how engineering, product, implementation, and client success teams function together. You will take on increasingly complex projects that support the company's efforts to automate accounts receivable processes. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable REST APIs, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with the existing systems. You will also be involved in optimizing database queries and managing data flow to enhance performance. As you grow in this role, you will have opportunities to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall engineering culture at Versapay.
