Who you are

You have a strong illustration and graphic design capability, with demonstrated freehand and traditional illustration skills. Your portfolio showcases your ability to create concept sketches through to finished production work, reflecting versatility in style — you can render vibrant, high-quality artwork in both realistic and cartoon styles. You are comfortable working in a small, collaborative team environment, contributing ideas and improvements to keep pace with evolving tools and player expectations. Experience in slots is strongly preferred, but exceptional candidates from gaming or adjacent industries will also be considered.

What you'll do

As an Illustrator at VGW, you will create game art and assets, including symbols, backgrounds, banners, typography, and UI elements. You will translate game ideas into strong visual concepts and polished final art, working closely with animators to provide storyboards for sequencing, transitions, and key in-game events. Your role will involve using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate concepting and iteration where appropriate, ensuring that the artwork meets the high standards expected in the gaming industry. You will also contribute to the overall creative process, collaborating with other team members to enhance the visual storytelling of the games.
