Your experience includes managing configuration changes and requests, demonstrating your ability to handle complex systems and infrastructure needs. You are committed to developing long-term strategies for infrastructure capacity planning, ensuring that the systems can scale with the business's growth.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, build, and support of high-performance servers that are critical to Virtu's trading platform. You will analyze, diagnose, and resolve Linux-based server issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining packages, batch files, and scripts that enhance the operating system environment.

You will work closely with engineers across global teams to ensure that the trading platform remains competitive and efficient. This includes identifying opportunities for optimization to reduce latency and increase overall system efficiency. You will manage move, add, and change requests, ensuring that configurations are updated as needed to meet evolving business requirements.

Additionally, you will assist in developing long-term infrastructure strategies and capacity planning to meet future platform needs. Your role will require you to liaise with various internal technology groups and external vendors, ensuring that the solutions provided are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
