Who you are
You have a diverse and deep technical background in various disciplines, particularly in cloud technologies. Your experience includes building and maintaining AWS and Azure cloud-native infrastructure and services, which allows you to create relevant IaaS automation and CI/CD pipelines effectively. You are familiar with corporate applications such as Okta, Jira, Confluence, Slack, and GitHub, and you understand how to integrate and automate associated workflows.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation, which drives you to look at business environments and technologies in new and challenging ways. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with teams to deliver integrated whole-system solutions that meet the ever-changing needs of customers. Your ability to manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure is a key asset.
What you'll do
As a Cloud Engineer II at Vonage, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining scalable AWS and Azure infrastructure, including compute resources for Windows workloads, networking, and storage solutions. You will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes.
Your role will involve collaborating with the IT Engineering team to develop and maintain corporate applications that support the globally distributed Vonage workforce. You will be tasked with configuring and maintaining SaaS and cloud-native applications, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization. Additionally, you will integrate and automate workflows associated with these applications, enhancing overall efficiency.
You will also be expected to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve existing processes. Your contributions will play a vital role in helping Vonage connect the world through innovative cloud communications solutions.
