5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on building scalable applications — you've successfully developed and deployed microservices that handle high volumes of data in real-time. Your expertise in Java allows you to create robust and efficient solutions that meet business needs.

Deep understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture — you know how to design services that are maintainable and cost-effective, ensuring they can scale as user demand grows. You have experience with testing strategies, including unit tests and integration tests, to guarantee software quality.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams — your ability to communicate effectively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders helps drive projects forward. You are proactive in proposing solutions and improvements to existing systems.

Desirable

Experience with cloud communication platforms or similar technologies is a plus — you understand the challenges and opportunities in the CPaaS market. Familiarity with anti-fraud measures and two-factor authentication systems would be beneficial.

What you'll do

Join the Vonage Verify API team and contribute to the development of next-generation authentication solutions. You'll create scalable microservices that support our growing customer base and enhance our product offerings. Your role will involve estimating the effort required for new features and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality software.

Implement and execute effective testing strategies to ensure the reliability of our services — you'll be responsible for designing and developing approaches to measure and improve service quality. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and scalability of our cloud communications platform.

Work on both greenfield and existing projects, allowing you to explore new technologies and methodologies — you'll have the opportunity to innovate and push the boundaries of what's possible in cloud communications. Your insights and expertise will help shape the future of our products.
