Who you are
You have significant experience as a data scientist, ideally in a fast-paced tech environment, where you've tackled complex data challenges and contributed to strategic decision-making. Your expertise in Python and SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, while your strong understanding of machine learning principles enables you to build predictive models that drive business outcomes.
You are skilled in data visualization techniques, using tools to present insights clearly and compellingly to stakeholders. Your analytical mindset helps you identify trends and patterns in data, and you are comfortable working with time series data to construct confidence intervals and make predictions.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, software engineers, and data analysts to deliver impactful solutions. Your communication skills allow you to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment across teams.
Desirable
Experience with BI tools and frameworks is a plus, as is a strong track record of achievements on platforms like Kaggle. Familiarity with mobile gaming or consumer apps will be advantageous, given Voodoo's focus on the gaming industry.
What you'll do
As a Lead Data Scientist at Voodoo, you will take ownership of modeling efforts that support various business units. Your primary responsibility will be to predict campaign LTV for user acquisition optimization, ensuring that marketing strategies are data-driven and effective. You will also determine optimal monetization offers for millions of players, leveraging your analytical skills to enhance user engagement and revenue.
You will collaborate with a diverse team of product managers, software engineers, and data analysts, contributing to the development of innovative tech products and platforms. Your role will involve constructing confidence intervals for time series data predictions, which will be critical for strategic planning and decision-making.
In this hybrid position, you will work three days a week in the Paris office, fostering a collaborative atmosphere while also enjoying the flexibility of remote work. Your contributions will have a strategic impact on Voodoo's success, as you help the company maintain its position at the forefront of the mobile gaming industry.
