Who you are
You have a strong background with Next.js and React — you've built complex frontend applications that prioritize performance and scalability. Your hands-on experience leading a frontend chapter or equivalent has shaped the discipline and influenced key decisions.
You possess a deep understanding of frontend architecture — your expertise includes CI/CD processes, A/B testing, and rendering strategies. You are knowledgeable about caching mechanisms and CDN usage, ensuring optimal performance for users.
You are passionate about fostering collaboration — you mobilize engineers and influence product and design teams to elevate the practice of frontend engineering across the company. Your genuine drive to lead by example inspires others to follow.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define and evolve VTEX's frontend stack — your technical decisions will directly influence major projects, including the new storefront (FastStore) and AI-powered admin experiences. You will play a key part in structuring and scaling the Frontend Chapter across teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
You will help build complex, high-impact applications that power the storefront experience — your focus on performance, scalability, and developer experience will be crucial in delivering exceptional products. You will also contribute to building clear career paths within the frontend discipline, mentoring engineers and fostering their growth.
