Vehicle Operator (CDL) • Entry-Level

Who you are

You have a CDL Class A driver’s license and at least 3 years of recent commercial driving experience with combination vehicles. You maintain a clean background check, drug screen, and driving record, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You are open-minded and a collaborative team player, willing to help others and contribute to a culture of excellence in safety. Your passion for self-driving technologies drives you to solve hard problems and create innovative solutions. You are comfortable with late-night and weekend shifts, adapting to the demands of the role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manually drive Class 8 commercial vehicles safely and compliantly, ensuring adherence to all regulations. You will also operate Class 8 autonomous vehicles on public roadways and test tracks, providing valuable feedback about vehicle performance and capabilities. Performing vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections will be part of your responsibilities to ensure safety and DOT compliance. Your insights will help improve the technology and contribute to the advancement of self-driving capabilities at Waabi.
