Desirable
Experience with MLflow for managing the machine learning lifecycle is a plus. Familiarity with Bayesian inference techniques and robust evaluation methods will help you excel in this role. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the rapidly evolving field of AI.
What you'll do
In this role, you will build and operate the petabyte-scale data systems that are crucial for Waymo's foundation model development. You will shepherd cutting-edge foundation models from research prototypes to robust components within the Waymo Driver. Your work will directly contribute to the mission of safely operating Waymo vehicles in diverse urban environments. You will collaborate with other research teams within Alphabet to foster innovation and share insights. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning pipelines that ensure data quality and model performance. Your contributions will help improve the Waymo Driver's capabilities and enhance user safety.
What we offer
Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $204,000—$259,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
