You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and legal experts. Your organizational skills enable you to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all events and showcases are executed flawlessly. You are adaptable and comfortable with a hybrid work schedule, balancing time between Washington D.C. and New York City.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be the primary lead for organizing and executing all East Coast engagement initiatives for Waymo. This includes planning and managing events that showcase the benefits of autonomous driving technology to policymakers and the public. You will work closely with the Policy and Government Affairs team to develop strategies that effectively communicate the safety benefits of the Waymo Driver and advance consumer acceptance of autonomous vehicles.
Your responsibilities will also involve coordinating with internal teams to support their innovative work and ensuring that all messaging aligns with Waymo's mission. You will engage with third-party groups to foster partnerships that enhance Waymo's visibility and influence in the policy landscape. Additionally, you will track and analyze the impact of your initiatives, using data to inform future strategies and improve engagement efforts.
