What you'll do
As an Embedded Automotive Software Engineer at Wayve, you will be part of a team dedicated to creating innovative software solutions for autonomous vehicles. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and optimize the software platform that enables vehicles to perceive and navigate their environments effectively. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers and hardware engineers, to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing. Your role will involve writing high-quality code, conducting code reviews, and participating in design discussions to ensure the software meets performance and safety standards. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise during development and testing phases.
