What you'll do

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Whatnot, you will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end gamified mechanisms that enhance user engagement on our platform. You will build interactive challenges and reward systems that guide users and encourage ongoing participation in our live shopping events. Your role will involve collaborating with the Games & Buyer Ecosystem Team to create features that cater to our US and European markets, ensuring that our offerings are tailored to meet the needs of our diverse user base.

You will continuously analyze user behavior and feedback to iterate on existing features and implement new ones that drive key business metrics such as purchases and engagement. Your contributions will play a crucial role in redefining e-commerce by blending community, shopping, and entertainment into a seamless experience for our users. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
