What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at Whatnot, you will design and develop software systems and applications that significantly improve the company's top-line metrics. You will analyze and design software features based on business metrics collected from buyer and seller experiences. Your role will involve recommending software upgrades for existing systems and optimizing software for speed and scalability. You will also develop new and improved features that help new users understand the product, including authentication, activation, email notifications, SEO, and performance marketing. You will lead the team in best practices in backend development, ensuring high-quality code and efficient processes.
