You have extensive experience in information security, with a proven track record of leading security teams and managing security operations. Your background includes developing and executing security programs that align with business and regulatory requirements. You possess strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Security, Security Architecture, Engineering, IT, GRC, and Legal.
You are adept at driving execution through metrics and documented processes, ensuring that security initiatives are reliable and scalable. Your leadership style fosters team performance and operational outcomes, and you are committed to continuous improvement in security practices. You understand the complexities of working in a regulated technology environment and are passionate about enhancing organizational security posture.
What you'll do
As the Director of Information Security at WHOOP, you will lead the security engineering and operations capabilities of the company. You will be accountable for delivering security programs that meet both business and regulatory requirements. Your role involves managing an existing security team, overseeing the operating model for security engineering and operations, and ensuring that security initiatives are executed effectively.
You will partner closely with various departments, including Product Security and Security Architecture, to align security practices with product development and engineering efforts.
