You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems at scale — you've designed, built, and maintained scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot in cloud-native environments. Your strong hands-on experience with AWS services means you are comfortable leveraging tools like Lambda, ECS/EKS, and RDS to optimize performance and reliability.

Deep expertise in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture is second nature to you — you understand the importance of following best engineering practices to ensure seamless integration and high-quality product delivery. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, QA, and Frontend to drive successful outcomes.

You are skilled at troubleshooting complex backend issues and performing root-cause analysis — your analytical mindset allows you to provide long-term improvements to system stability. You take pride in writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to engineering and security standards.

Desirable

Experience with automation, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus — you understand how these practices can improve development and deployment workflows. Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in streamlining workflows would be beneficial, as you may provide recommendations on effective AI use in your role.

What you'll do
