Who you are
You have 2+ years of hands-on software development experience, particularly with React and Node.js, and a strong understanding of OOP principles. Your background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and you are comfortable working in an Agile development environment. You possess a solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and have experience with Next.js and Emotion. Additionally, you have familiarity with C# and the Microsoft .NET framework, as well as a good understanding of relational databases like SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
You are skilled in managing AWS assets, preferably using Terraform and/or YAML pipelines, and have experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB. Your problem-solving skills enable you to track down and resolve bugs effectively, and you adhere to best practice development standards, including continuous integration and deployment. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a culture of growth and innovation.
What you'll do
As a React Software Engineer at Wizeline, you will be responsible for writing, building, and deploying code that meets business application requirements. You will analyze these requirements, identify concerns, and develop action plans to address them. Working closely with team members from Romania and the US, you will be part of an Agile development team that utilizes the latest software development life-cycle practices. You will leverage our cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, to design solutions that maximize efficiency and performance.
In addition to developing new features, you will maintain existing legacy applications and ensure they continue to function smoothly. You will also track down and resolve bugs in any OPIS code base, ensuring that our applications remain reliable and user-friendly. Your role will involve adhering to best practice development standards, contributing to a high-impact environment that values collaboration and professional development.
