Who you are

You have a strong background in fullstack development, with expertise in architecting and implementing scalable solutions using Next.js and React. Your experience includes designing and developing backend services with Node.js and Express, ensuring high performance and security in your applications. You are well-versed in GraphQL and REST APIs, and you follow SOA and microservices principles to create robust systems. Your knowledge of TypeScript allows you to enforce strong typing and clean architectural patterns across both frontend and backend codebases.

You are familiar with integrating and optimizing API Gateways for authentication, routing, and service orchestration, and you have experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases to ensure data consistency and performance. Your skills extend to implementing search solutions using Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, and you have designed event-driven systems using Kafka for asynchronous communication. You understand security best practices for APIs and distributed systems, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with product, design, data, and platform teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will architect, design, and implement scalable fullstack solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies. You will lead the development of backend services using Node.js and Express, ensuring that they meet high standards of performance and security. Your responsibilities will include building and integrating Federated GraphQL architectures to support distributed teams and scalable domains. You will enforce TypeScript standards across the codebase, promoting strong typing and shared schemas.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions, driving the evolution of the platform. Your role will involve designing and optimizing API Gateways, as well as implementing search solutions that enhance user experience. You will also be responsible for integrating event-driven systems and ensuring that all components of the architecture work seamlessly together. As a staff engineer, you will mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team.
