Who you are
You have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on Ruby and Ruby on Rails — your expertise allows you to build robust applications that meet complex business needs. You possess solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design principles, enabling you to create scalable and maintainable code. Your experience with caching technologies like Redis and Memcache, as well as RDBMS engines such as PostgreSQL, equips you to optimize application performance effectively.
You are a problem solver with excellent debugging and analytical skills — you thrive on tackling challenges and finding innovative solutions. Your social skills allow you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Contributions to open source projects are a plus, showcasing your commitment to the developer community.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer at Workato, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our enterprise orchestration platform. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, and testing new features, as well as maintaining existing codebases to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
You will also be involved in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and mentoring junior engineers to foster their growth.
