Who you are
You are a creative problem solver with a strong foundation in machine learning and a passion for AI applications in mobility. You have experience with Python and are familiar with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. Your background in computer vision allows you to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to learn from experienced mentors.
Desirable
Experience with optimization problems and deploying machine learning models in production is a plus. Familiarity with robotics or autonomous driving technologies will enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
As a Machine Learning Engineer Intern, you will work closely with the Behavior Actuation team to develop state-of-the-art vehicle control systems. You will analyze petabytes of multimodal driving data and solve optimization problems in computer vision. Your role will involve deploying scalable and efficient machine learning training and evaluation pipelines, as well as designing novel neural network architectures to advance the state-of-the-art in perception, prediction, and motion planning.
You will receive constant feedback and clear goals from your mentors and managers throughout your internship. At the end of your internship, you will have the opportunity to present your project results to the team and other interested parties, showcasing your contributions to the mission of improving mobility for everyone.
