Who you are
You are a seasoned ML engineer with a strong background in developing foundation models for autonomous systems — you have experience curating multi-modal data and identifying suitable model architectures that drive innovation in mobility. Your expertise in optimizing training paradigms and deploying models efficiently for both onboard and offboard use cases sets you apart in the field.
You thrive in collaborative environments, regularly interacting with software and hardware engineers as well as researchers — your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively allows you to tackle challenging problems in AI, robotics, and computer vision. You are passionate about improving mobility for everyone and are excited to contribute to a world with zero accidents.
Desirable
Experience with large-scale data processing and optimization techniques is a plus — familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure optimization will enhance your contributions to the team. A background in autonomous driving technologies or advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) will be beneficial.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the development of foundation models for Woven by Toyota's autonomy stack — your responsibilities will include curating the right multi-modal data and steering the team towards the best training paradigms. You will optimize the infrastructure for the highest utilization, ensuring that models are deployed efficiently across various use cases.
