What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Xometry, you will play a crucial role in the Post Order/Order Management team, where your primary responsibility will be to design, code, test, and release software solutions that enhance the Xometry platform. You will collaborate with a skilled team to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of services, contributing to the overall success of the platform.

You will be involved in configuring and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that the deployment process is seamless and efficient. Your expertise in infrastructure-as-code will be vital as you work to automate and streamline deployment processes. You will also focus on building and maintaining scalable, event-driven architectures using AWS services, ensuring that the platform can handle increasing demands.

Your role will include owning operational responsibilities for team microservices, where you will implement monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices to maintain high service reliability. You will work closely with product managers and designers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet user needs, ensuring that the software you develop aligns with the company's goals and objectives.

Participation in an on-call rotation for critical systems will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to respond to incidents and ensure that services remain operational.
