You are a recent graduate or have some experience in quantitative research, with a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics. You have a passion for algorithmic trading and are eager to apply machine learning techniques to real-world financial problems. Your programming skills, particularly in Python, allow you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to derive insights from complex data. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited about working with a team of talented researchers and developers.
Desirable
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus. Familiarity with financial markets and instruments will help you understand the context of your work better. A background in computer science or a related field will enhance your ability to contribute to the team.
What you'll do
As a Junior Quantitative Researcher at XTX Markets, you will be involved in developing and implementing models that forecast prices for a wide range of financial instruments. You will work closely with senior researchers to refine existing models and explore new methodologies that leverage machine learning.
