You are proficient in real-time rendering and have hands-on experience with ARCore and OpenGL, enabling you to create immersive user experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and confidence. Your technical expertise is complemented by your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, making you an effective leader in cross-functional teams.

Desirable

Experience with cloud integration and system middleware is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to connect device capabilities with cloud services. Familiarity with battery-powered hardware constraints will also be beneficial in optimizing software performance for the ATOM headset.

What you'll do

As the Lead Developer, you will spearhead the development of the on-device software stack for the ATOM headset, focusing on the XR runtime and system services. You will design and implement scalable, modular software that performs efficiently on constrained hardware, ensuring a seamless user experience. Your role will involve making day-to-day technical decisions and contributing hands-on to critical areas of the codebase, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

You will lead a small team of engineers specializing in XR, graphics, and embedded systems, providing mentorship and setting clear technical direction. Your responsibilities will include reviewing code, promoting best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. You will collaborate closely with R&D, hardware, and cloud teams to translate advanced capabilities into reliable tools used on live construction sites.
