What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer at Yugabyte, you will play a key role in developing YugabyteDB, focusing on enhancing its capabilities as a distributed database — you will design and implement features that support high-scale, geo-distributed workloads, ensuring that the database meets the demands of modern applications. You will collaborate with the Aeon team to build Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) solutions that allow users to run YugabyteDB clusters seamlessly across various environments.
You will engage in code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team — your expertise will guide the team in adopting best practices for software development and deployment. You will also contribute to the open-source community, sharing your knowledge and improvements to YugabyteDB with a broader audience.
