Zeeco is hiring an HR Generalist - Benefits Specialist to manage employee benefits administration and support HR functions. This role requires 7+ years of experience in employee benefits and strong customer service skills.
Job Description
Who you are
You have over 7 years of experience working with employee benefits, demonstrating a deep understanding of benefits administration and management. Your background includes managing comprehensive employee benefit plans, 401(k) programs, and wellness initiatives, ensuring that employees receive the support they need. You are comfortable presenting information to new hires and company staff, showcasing your confidence and communication skills. You possess excellent customer service skills, allowing you to effectively interact with individuals both inside and outside the company. You thrive under pressure, adeptly managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of benefits administration, including processing benefit enrollments for new hires and managing family status changes. You will initiate and manage life insurance claims, short-term disability claims, and workerβs compensation claims in coordination with carriers, ensuring compliance with federal and company policies. Additionally, you will maintain and administer FMLA and Non-FMLA leave requests, providing support to employees as needed. You will also assist in various HR tasks to help reach departmental goals, contributing to a positive work environment and employee satisfaction.
