Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in project management, with experience in planning, budgeting, and executing projects to ensure they meet customer specifications and sales quotations. Your ability to monitor and report on project progress is key to your success, as is your understanding of risk analysis and management. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering teams and support groups to achieve project goals. Your familiarity with fabrication processes, including welding and ASME standards, enhances your capability to manage projects effectively.
Desirable
Experience in combustion, burner, or boiler systems is a plus, as is a background in the petrochemical or refinery industries. Site experience will further strengthen your application, allowing you to bring practical insights into project execution.
What you'll do
As a Project Manager at Zeeco, you will be responsible for planning and defining project scope, developing schedules, and managing risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. You will monitor and report on the progress of scope and budgets, ensuring that all required drawings are completed and customer specifications are met. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, including sales, drafting, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality control, to maintain delivery schedules based on customer requirements. You will also establish and track the cost budget for jobs, working closely with cost specialists to ensure financial targets are met. Your ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers will be crucial as you navigate the complexities of project management from conceptual design through to delivery and installation.
