Job Description

Who you are

You are a Senior Tax Analyst with a strong background in managing federal and state income tax filings. You possess the ability to review and analyze tax information, ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining a keen attention to detail. Your organizational skills allow you to manage multiple deadlines effectively, and you are comfortable handling sensitive information with confidentiality. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are adaptable to the dynamic needs of the tax team.

You have experience with tax software and tools, including Microsoft Dynamics SL, Crystal Reports, Adaptive Workday, and Concur. Your analytical mindset enables you to research and retrieve necessary data to support tax audits and notices. You are flexible and open to new challenges, always looking for ways to improve processes and contribute to the team's success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will review and maintain schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual federal and state income tax filings. You will also oversee the completion and filing dates for all tax returns, ensuring that deadlines are met. Your responsibilities will include conducting monthly reconciliations to general ledger tax accounts and managing research and support for corporate income tax audits and notices. You will collaborate closely with the Global Tax Manager and the accounting department, which consists of over 30 professionals, to foster a strong team culture.

You will participate in team-building activities outside of work, enhancing relationships with colleagues. Your role will require you to think critically and creatively, providing insights that help shape the tax strategy of the organization. You will be expected to stay updated on tax regulations and best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the tax function at Zeeco.
