Who you are

You are an experienced Structural Design Engineer with a strong background in the design and analysis of steel structures supporting static equipment in Oil & Gas and heavy engineering projects. With at least 5 years of relevant experience, you have a deep understanding of structural codes and best practices in the industry. Your hands-on expertise in STAAD Pro allows you to create safe and efficient designs that meet project requirements. You thrive in collaborative environments, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that all aspects of the design are constructible and efficient. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure that your designs not only meet but exceed industry standards. You are proactive in identifying potential challenges and are skilled at developing innovative solutions to overcome them.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of steel structures for various projects within the Oil & Gas sector. You will utilize STAAD Pro to create detailed structural models and perform necessary calculations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. Collaborating closely with project managers and other engineers, you will participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will also involve preparing technical documentation and reports to communicate design decisions and project progress to stakeholders. You will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural engineering to continuously improve your design practices. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
