Who you are

You are a seasoned Principal Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in software development, particularly in AI technologies. You have a proven track record of building innovative products and are comfortable engaging with both engineering and product leadership as a trusted advisor. Your expertise in system design and development is complemented by your ability to champion cutting-edge technologies and trends in AI. You have a strong grasp of Agentic development, RAG, and vector databases, and you are experienced in fine-tuning LLMs or utilizing small models for targeted problem-solving. You thrive in collaborative environments where ownership and independence are valued, and you have a bias towards achieving measurable results.

Desirable

You have experience with a variety of AI development tools, including Claude Code and Cursor, and are familiar with the latest trends in AI. Your background includes working with both backend technologies like Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ, as well as frontend technologies such as React. You are passionate about using technology to improve workplace culture and have a strong desire to make a positive impact through your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be one of the most senior technical contributors on the engineering team, responsible for driving the AI vision of the company. You will engage directly with engineering and product leadership, providing insights and guidance on technology and platform capabilities. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable systems that leverage AI technologies to solve complex problems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the products you build meet customer needs and drive business success. You will also mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables, ensuring that the engineering team is on track to meet its objectives.
