What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Perception Occupancy team, you will lead a diverse group of engineers in developing cutting-edge perception systems. You will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap and milestone goals, ensuring that your team is aligned with the overall vision of Zoox. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with other AI teams, including Simulation, Sensor and Hardware, and Systems Design, to deliver exceptional perception capabilities.

You will oversee the development of algorithms that create a world-class 3D environment model from sensor data, ensuring that they are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. Your role will involve mentoring team members, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving the technical excellence of the team. You will also engage with stakeholders to communicate progress and align on project objectives.
