What you'll do

As a Platform System Simulation Test Engineer at Zoox, you will be responsible for developing and executing simulation test plans that validate the safety and performance of our robotaxi systems. You will work closely with the System Design and Mission Assurance team to construct the Safety Case, ensuring that our vehicles meet rigorous safety standards. Your role will involve creating and maintaining simulation test suites, automating data processing, and analyzing results to provide insights into system performance.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the iterative development of our autonomous driving capabilities. Your expertise in simulation will help guide the testing process, ensuring that both vehicle and simulation testing are optimized for safety and efficiency. You will also be involved in defining best practices for simulation testing, helping to establish a robust framework that supports the ongoing development of our autonomous systems.
