Overview

Agoda is hiring a Head of Flights Strategy & Operations to lead their growth in Japan's flight market. You'll drive partner strategy and oversee operations to establish Agoda as a leading Flights OTA in APAC.

You have extensive experience in strategic operations and commercial negotiations, ideally within the travel or e-commerce sectors. Your background includes a proven track record of driving growth in competitive markets, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. You possess strong leadership skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams to achieve business objectives. You are data-driven and have a keen understanding of market dynamics, enabling you to make informed decisions that align with Agoda's strategic goals.

You are comfortable navigating complex partnerships and have a knack for building relationships with key stakeholders. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate strategies clearly and effectively to both internal teams and external partners. You thrive in high-impact roles where you can influence the direction of a business and contribute to its long-term success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of Agoda's Flights strategy in Japan, focusing on market expansion and operational excellence. You will lead the development of strategic partnerships that enhance Agoda's offerings and drive customer acquisition. Collaborating closely with the commercial leadership team, you will identify new opportunities for growth and implement initiatives that position Agoda as a leader in the Flights market.

You will oversee the execution of operational strategies that ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. This includes analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine Agoda's approach to the Flights business. You will also be responsible for setting performance metrics and ensuring that the team meets its objectives.

Your role will involve regular travel to Bangkok for collaboration with regional teams, ensuring alignment on strategic initiatives and sharing best practices. You will play a key role in shaping Agoda's market presence in Japan, making data-driven decisions that contribute to the company's overall success in the travel industry.
