Overview

Carvana is seeking an Entry-Level Motor Vehicle State Inspector to perform light maintenance and quality inspections on vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 6 months of automotive repair experience and offers competitive wages and benefits.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an entry-level automotive technician with at least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience. You have a keen eye for detail and are committed to delivering high-quality work. You understand the importance of vehicle maintenance and inspections in ensuring customer satisfaction. You are a team player who is willing to work mandatory overtime when needed to meet business demands. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.

Desirable

While not required, any additional certifications or training in automotive repair would be beneficial. Experience with state inspection processes or familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools would also be a plus.

What you'll do

As a Motor Vehicle State Inspector at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing light maintenance and fluid checks on vehicles. You will conduct thorough quality inspections to identify any imperfections or repairs needed throughout the post-production process. Your role will involve using state-of-the-art tools in our high-tech Inspection Centers to ensure that every vehicle meets our quality standards before it reaches the customer. You will work closely with other automotive technicians and team members to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold Carvana's commitment to exceptional customer service.

You will participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and ensure your professional growth within the company. This role may require you to work overtime during peak times to meet customer demands, so flexibility and a strong work ethic are essential. You will also have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of automotive repair and maintenance, contributing to your overall development in the automotive industry.
