You have over 5 years of experience in the beauty industry, particularly in skincare and ingredient trends. Your background equips you with the ability to analyze data effectively and provide insights that help clients stay competitive. You are skilled in identifying emerging trends and consumer needs, which allows you to pinpoint opportunities for brands and manufacturers. Your technical expertise in product development and ingredient functionality enhances your ability to communicate effectively with industry players. You are comfortable interacting with clients and discussing global and regional trends, ensuring that you can provide tailored insights that meet their needs.
Experience in consulting or market research is a plus, as is familiarity with competitive intelligence tools. A strong understanding of the beauty and personal care market dynamics will set you apart. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to predict industry trends and consumer behavior effectively.
In this role, you will support Mintel's Beauty & Personal Care client portfolio by creating and delivering expert insights. You will conduct thorough analyses of emerging ingredient and product trends, focusing on skincare. Your responsibilities will include identifying white space opportunities for brands and manufacturers, as well as developing strategies based on consumer needs. You will regularly interact with major players in the beauty industry, providing them with insights that can influence their product development and marketing strategies. You will also be responsible for conducting client meetings, both on-site and over the phone, to discuss trends and product development ideas.
