You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating your expertise in various painting techniques including base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats. Your skills extend to blending adjacent panels and correcting paint imperfections, ensuring high-quality finishes on vehicles. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your craftsmanship, understanding the importance of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring that each car meets the company's standards for appearance and quality. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools and equipment in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, allowing you to work efficiently and effectively.

Your role will involve preparing surfaces for painting, mixing paint to achieve the desired color and finish, and applying multiple layers of paint as needed. You will also be tasked with blending adjacent panels to create a seamless look and correcting any paint imperfections that may arise during the process. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be expected to maintain high standards of quality throughout your work.

In addition to your painting responsibilities, you will participate in training programs offered by Carvana to further develop your skills and advance your career. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, gaining experience and expertise in automotive painting techniques.

What we offer

Carvana provides a competitive wage ranging from $28 to $35 per hour, depending on experience, along with a $6,000 bonus for this position.
